Chris Ricci has offered guided forays for gourmet and medicinal mushrooms in Southwest Colorado since 2010. He is a recognized mushroom identification expert, having foraged fungi across North America and Southern Africa. He makes his own medicinal mushroom extracts and has developed simple, high-yield techniques for growing oyster mushrooms on logs. Daisy is a one year old heeler mix from northern New Mexico. She enjoys chasing frisbees, playing with other dogs, and chewing on bones when she is not sniffing around.  Daisy will be assisting Chris in a presentation about hunting for truffles.
